Easy Crab Dip!

Yummy Layered Crab Dip!

This was featured in Southern Living years ago!
It is still a family favorite!
Mason worked in the bookstore of the girl's school I attended. She collected all kinds of girls from all different grades into her care. These girls (now adult women, most of whom have children of their own now) got together recently to celebrate our dearly departed Mason!

This crab did made an appearance.

Ingredients:
8oz of cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp Mayo
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup cocktail sauce
1 (16 oz) container lump crabmeat, drained (you can make a switch for the canned stuff...)
2 cups (8oz) Monterey Jack (or Mozz) cheese
3 green onions
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
Assorted crackers and fresh veggies

Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth;
add lemon juice and next 4 ingredients, beating until blended. Spoon mixture into a 9" serving dish.
Cover and chill at least 20 minutes.
Spread cocktail sauce evenly over cream cheese mixture.

Top with crabmeat...

Sprinkle with cheese...

Chop onions and peppers...
Sprinkle with onions and peppers...

Top with olives and serve with crackers and fresh veggies!
So Easy!

La Bonne Vie Y'all!
